The economic aggregate continued to expand. The wholesale and retail enterprises above designated size increased by 38.5%, 56.1%, 31.0% and 18.5% in hardware and electricity, building and decoration materials, furniture, household appliances and audio-visual equipment, respectively, which were 10.6, 38.5, 9.7 and 3.4 percentage points higher than those in the previous three quarters. Prices have risen moderately. The budget revenue of public finance accounted for 13.1% of the regional GDP, an increase of 0.1 percentage points over the previous year.

Financial credit operated steadily. At the end of the year, the balance of deposits in financial institutions was 170.993 billion yuan, an increase of 17.198 billion yuan over the beginning of the year.
