In order to further optimize the construction of teachers and improve the quality of kindergarten education and teaching, Xiangyang Kindergarten Education Group in Qiantang District of Hangzhou recently launched a collective teaching activity appraisal activity under the theme of complete children.
This appraisal activity revolves around the theme of "winter" under the complete children’s curriculum. Sixteen teachers in Xiangyang and Xiangshang parks carefully prepared lessons in the early stage, devoted themselves to studying the teaching materials, and actively tried teaching and prepared well in combination with the age characteristics of the children in the class.
Seven teachers in the small class chose the teaching activities under the theme of "Winter is Coming". Combining with the age characteristics of children, the teachers designed interesting and operational activities with different ideas, different entry points and key points, so that children could experience the fun of playing, doing, talking and playing games in winter.
The theme of "I exercise, I am healthy" belongs to the dimension of "children and nature". Seven teachers in the middle class choose to teach in the fields of science, language and art, and explore various ways to keep out the cold in life with children by operating and experiencing, so as to actively cope with the brave journey in winter.
Under the theme of "The Secret of Winter", two teachers in the big class chose the social activity "An Unforgettable Year" and the language activity "The Chinese Zodiac", and used different strategies and methods to let the children understand and experience the rich emotions and beautiful meanings contained in winter life in the immersive participation and experience, thus generating a sense of identity and belonging to Chinese traditional culture.
After the appraisal, the judges and the teachers on the spot had a heated discussion on each teacher’s activity performance, focusing on the achievement of activity objectives, activity organization and teacher-child interaction. Everyone put forward their own ideas on the highlights of each class, the teaching characteristics of each teacher and the places to be improved.
Every teaching appraisal is an effective study, an improvement of ability and a growing experience. This "evaluation activity of collective teaching activities under the theme of complete children" has not only built a stage for teachers to tap their potential, show their elegance and surpass themselves, but also created a platform for other teachers to observe and learn from others, learn from others and discuss and communicate.
